The sun is reflecting off the lighthouses in Grand Haven as it appears over the dunes.
The Muskegon harbor is empty. The water is placid and it is foggy so the Lake fades into the horizon..
The water in Lake Michigan has gotten above 40 degrees at a couple of warm points near the center. It is colder near the shore.
The horizon is turning pink as the sun prepares to rise above the horizon this morning on Bradford Beach in Milwaukee.
Is that Chicago we see on the horizon? It looks like a clear day in Miller Beach.
As a sign of the end of winter there are clearer skies. The remaining snow on the beach is overshadowed by orange hues on the horizon during this sunrise.
A light on the Grand Haven pier has a very interesting ice formation on it.
Although most of the ice is gone from the Lake, we still have a lot of ice in the Muskegon harbor.
Although all the snow and ice are gone from the beach and nearly all of it is gone from the water, there is still quite a bit by the Grand Haven lighthouse.
This morning in Chicago is crystal clear. The sky and Lake Michigan are a perfect shade of blue. The lights in the city add a perfect yellow and we can see reflections on the buildings.
